Beware of competitors offering hundreds of Gigabytes of transfer for very little money. Many companies 'meter' your connection so that you do not have a fully burstable connection. Instead, they throttle your connection back to a much slower speed. For example, if you see an offer for 250GB/Month, be sure that your line isn't throttled back to 768kbps. If you flood a 768kbps line, it would take 30 days to send 250GB of data through. While this might be fine for text-based sites, more and more users have faster access than this! DSL and Cable Modems far exceed this speed, and your visitors would find your site painfully slow.
All our servers, be they Dedicated or CoLocated, are on a fully burstable network connection. If you are looking for a less expensive alternative where your connection is throttled back, we may be able to accomodate you... but we want you to understand exactly what you are and are NOT getting!
